When we look at the distressing condition of India’s governance today, let us not forget that there is still some hope. FTI is the harbinger of this hope: a platform for all good leaders of India to come together. The 'cash for votes' scandal has re-resurfaced, with The Hindu newspaper publishing official cables of a US diplomat based in New Delhi that he was shown piles of cash meant for bribing lawmakers by Nachiketa Kapur, aide of Congress leader Satish Sharma, onetime aide and confidante of former prime minister Rajiv Gandhi.
